Joni's Getting Married

Joni is one of the people I known the longest out of my friends. Joni and I met in 4th grade and have been friends ever since. I'm so excited that she is married. Here are some pictures of her bachelorette party and wedding.
It had been a long day for me because this was on a Thursday night after I had worked all day and had to go to work the next day. We started out at one of her friends houses and then went to Groovy's. Joni and Ryan are so cute, their wedding was at a vinyard and it was just beautiful. I loved Joni's dress so vintage and so her!

Dog Sitting

So my parents went to Hawaii for two weeks and we got to watch our Sister Dog Remi. She is full of energy and loves to play will the red ball. Bella enjoyed having her Aunt here but was a little territorial about a few things. I took with both to work everyday and Corey would cuddle with Bella in the evening and I would attempt to cuddle with Remi.

September Happenings

So September hasn't been that busy. The only exciting thing I have to say is that we found out that Baby Bockus is a girl!! I am so excited for Marie to have a little girl to dress up. I'm not so sure how well a boy would have looked in a pink bow. Addison Rose Bockus is going to be a very loved baby and Aunt Amanda and Uncle Corey couldn't be more excited to meet her. I'm thankful that Marie has keep me informed on everything, since the very first day they found out they were pregnant. I want to know what it is like for her and be there to support her in anyway that I can. I know I'm not going through the same thing so it's different, but one day I will and I can share back with her what I'm going through. We love all of our friends and can't wait to start seeing their families grow.

Drive-in Virgin No More

So I had never been to a drive-in theatre, crazy right? Well not anymore. We went with our friends Hank and Marie to see one of the three possible movies. The first movie that was playing was G.I.Joe. I think Marie fell asleep about 20 minuets into the movie. She is pregnant so I totally understand her falling asleep. There are some hardcore Drive-in movie watchers. There was a truck behind us that was decked out in speakers, it felt as though I was in the movie with how loud it was. We had a great time and will definitely be going back.

Baby Making Update - August

So it looks as though I might not be ovulating. So I'm going to wait a few more months and then check in with the doctor and possibly go on some medicine to help me ovulate. So for now we are just enjoying this period of time together. I would almost say that we are back in our honeymoon stage and just enjoying each others company more then ever now. I wouldn't trade this time for anything. God's timing is perfect and I'm excited for whatever he has for us in the future.

Grandparent weekend

Corey and I haven't gotten to see some of our grandparents that don't live in OKC in a while, so we decided to take a saturday and travel to see His grandparents in Ponca City and to my grandma's in Enid. We got up real realy Saturday morning and dropped Bella off at Corey's parents house and then headed out to the fly-in breakfast in Ponca City. We hadn't been up there for the fly-in in several months so it was nice to go again. After the Fly-in we hung out for a while at the hanger while Corey's grandpa took up a young kid that wanted to learn how to fly to see if he would like it. Corey and I rode the scooter around for a little and talked with his grandma Cerita. I forget how much I enjoyed going to the fly-ins. The weather was just perfect. For lunch we rode over to Enriques (a famous mexican resturant). Oh course I had to pick up some salsa for Mauri, she loves that stuff. After that we went and saw the garden at Corey's grandparents church that they had a big part in. The garden was for people in the neighborhood to plant and grow vegestables in. What a great community outreach. We said our goodbyes and headed over to Enid next to see my Grandma Richey. She was very excited to see us and thinks Corey is just the cutest thing. We took my grandma for ice cream and then visited with her at her new house. I love my grandmother and would do anything for her. This is the most recent picture I have of her. I took this picture when we went up to see her right after she moved into her Retirement Home.

Lake with the Boldings

After Corey's parents moved here, we felt as though we hadn't actually spent a whole lot of time with them. When they lived in Ponca City we were able to spend 2 whole days with them once a month, now we just go over there for dinner about once a month and spend 4 hours with them. So we scheduled a weekend at the lake, where no one could go home and we just enjoyed our time together.
Sarah was worn out after being in the heat for a couple of hours.Noah enjoyed being able to watch Brad ski and wakeboard.Jan and Roy took a picture while no one was looking. The whole family together: Corey, Bella, Brad, Noah, Roy, Amanda, Chrissy, Jan and Sarah.
