Monday September 27th at 2:25 pm, Paige entered into our world and life. She weighed 6 lbs., 7 ozs. and was 19 inches long.

Holding Paige in my arms for the first time was surreal! Giving birth was nothing knowing what I was getting in return. Paige is absolutely beautiful! We are excited to start learning her personality and seeing her change everyday.
Labor short story:
We arrived at the hospital at 2:30 am and were put in a room around 3 am. Before they started the Pitocin I was 50% effaced and dilated to a 1.5. The pitocin was started around 4 am. My doctor recommended that I get as much sleep as I can so I tried. How in the world are you suppose to sleep when they are pumping you with fluids and have your blood pressure checked every 15 minuets. Corey was able to get a little sleep but not I. I had to get up every 30 minuets to go to the bathroom. Dr. B arrived at 9 am and I was dilated at a 2 and 80% effaced. She broke my water and contractions almost start immediately. My goal was to make it to a 4 or 6 before getting my epidural. We my nurse told me I was at a 4 and I said give me the good stuff. I was having contractions every minuet and they were at a 10. I received my epidural at 10:30 and was in heaven. I slept on and off when I could. My nurse came back in at some point and said I was at a 5 maybe 6. We didn't see her for a while and when she back at around 1 I was ready. She called the doctor and they prepped my room. I was half asleep and was slowly realizing what "ready" meant. The pushing started at around 1:30 and Paige was here at 2:25.
